Our Greatest Fear

Our Greatest Fear —Marianne Williamson

it is our light not our darkness that most frightens us

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us.

We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous,
talented and fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be?

You are a child of God.

Your playing small does not serve the world.

There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other

people won't feel insecure around you.

We were born to make manifest the glory of
God that is within us.

It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people
permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.

—Marianne Williamson

So, as you see..same as what i said in my 1st blog, the speech{many said boring :( }...Everyone is important for someone else..you may feel you are on this planet for a simple reason.. LIVE.. but you have another important task.. make others LIVE too..

Our deepest fear is underestimating ourselves.. we can be on the flying kite flying high now.. but just love to dig a hole insert our head into the ground like an ostrich..we have unbelieveable power!! Believe it..and there will be.. We are so powerful , we can change a person's life..like totally!! i mean a 360 ° turn.. I read an e-mail..very meaningful..

{There was this boy,B..looked bit nerdy.. who had fall down with his pile of books.. then this guy, A when to help him..when A help B take the books.. he saw a very special smile on him.. they started to talk..they stayed around the same street..so A decide to walk with B home that day.. soon, they became friends.. talked alot.. hang out often.. B was smart.. helped A alot in studies.. then came graduation day.. B was assigned to give a speech.. On that very day, A had a shock of his life.. that was the day he came to know B was going to suicide that particular day due to frustration in his life.. but because A had made a small step just to help him pick up the books... He saved a life.. }

Being capable of doing so much..what are we waiting for??!!! Thrive now!! Do it your way.. It may sound stupid, ridiculous,idiotic and so on.. people can say anything..but only you know thats the best way to excel.. So, y hesitate????!!! GO FOR IT!!

BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!!

TRUST YOURSELF!!

LOVE YOURSELF!!

CONVERSATION

As you see.. i am going to say bit of my view towards a CONVERSATION..
Basically, what is a conversation?

So.. i suppose as a word is what you need to start a conversation..right?
the "movement" of word from a place to another.. that's a conversation....

{OK}..for me.. a conversation is  divided into 3 stages..

Here
On the way
There

(movement of word)

HERE
When you say something to someone..you say with a reason..you want to say..what you want to say..what you want others to understand..

ON THE WAY
This is when the word is "moving"..on the air..

THERE
This happen when the word/message reaches the person involve in the conversation..

Confusing and worthless some may say for what am i typing here..loll..
But there's a point..

actually it is like this.......
When a person starts a conversation, he/she wants to say something to another person...so the way he/she is going to present the thoughts in words matters..largely..when thoughts presented as words..it is important for the "filtering" process to take place, removing some sensitive/offensive/unnecessary/bold words..this way an argument is not evolved after thoughts turn to word..{HERE}

When the word leaves the mouth ON THE WAY to the ears of the listener..words may "fly"..words may be heard by someone else who should not be there to hear it..so the environment where the conversation is being held is also arguably important..therefore..whenever a conversation start, find a good place where others don't feel offended because certain issue discussed in a conversation may not bother much for the speaker and listener but to the others there is no guarantee for that..so be careful not to offend others for no reason getting yourself in trouble..{ON THE WAY}

OK..now reaching the listeners..certain "precaution" need to be carried out..what type of listener is he/she?? will he/she accept the point i am going to point out?? what condition[mentally and physically] is he/she at present??? all these must come in your head before you even open your mouth..as you see..at different condition.. the interpretation of the conversation may be taken differently..so being prepared before a conversation is important too.. {THERE}

so, my dear readers, remember to apply the HOT system in a conversation to portray good manners and understanding towards others and maintain a good relationship..

please comment ya..this is all just my view.... :D

hello guys n gals... my 1st time blogging... hehe... nth much to say..
mayb for a start i ll post my farewell speech during form 5.. :)

A very good morning to the principal of SMK Methodist(ACS),Mr. Thong Kok Chaw, Senior assistant 1,Mr.Balaspramanim, Senior assistant In-charge of students’ Affair, Madam. Chuan Teik Mei, Senior assistant of cocuricular activities, Mr. Ng King Hiong, Head of Departments ,teachers and all my friends. I am really happy to be given this opportunity to give a speech for this farewell function. I truly am. :)

Well, my friends, I am here to share my experience in this wonderful school as a student, prefect, and scout. These 3 roles played a vital role in my life.

First of all, I would like to say that everyone means something to someone. This is true. Every single person in this hall has played an important role in another person’s life. The funny thing is many don’t know this. For example, the reason I got the courage to stand here, is not solely me. Apart from our parents, our role models, there are many people that change our life path, along the way. They can be our teachers, friends and even the gardeners. You never know. As along the way for myself, there is my teacher, Madam Ong Guat Sim, who created a turning point in my life by appointing me as the head prefect of the afternoon session 3 years back. My courage to stand here now comes from that change. As a friend, well, there is Jim Yang, he is always there to give me moral support and push me in my duties, get me to join games, sports, cocurricular activities and nearly everything else. The best part is that they are the main reasons for the change in me, but they are only 30% the reason I am here. The other 70% is from all of you, from other teachers, friends, clerks, security guards and even the ‘kakak’ who keeps the school clean. The support and cooperation I got from all of you while carrying out my duties provided me with the right exposure I needed to develop myself.

My friends, apart from what I just told you all, I have a piece of advice to offer to you all, that is, never jump to conclusions or make assumptions. Never, never, never!!!!! What I mean is that you can’t judge a person by the first time you look at him/her. For example, you can’t tell that that fellow is bad and don’t follow school rules when you saw him throwing rubbish for the 1st time. That may be the 1st time he did that or he didn’t do that on purpose. He may have a good reason and it is up to us to find out and correct him. We will never know. This goes to everyone,including teachers, schoolmates and anybody.
Our principal has made many changes in our school. There is a futsal court now, a bigger library to name a few. He is trying his best to make ACS a better place to be. He is. But there are some of us who will still say he does this and that unfairly, and all kinds of unfair comments. Well, everyone is not perfect; he is dealing with nearly 2000 people in our school. That is not easy, trust me. It is how you look at the situation and how much facts you have got, which causes you to comment positively or negatively. So check your facts first and judge fairly. From my point of view, I believe that our pricipal is doing well and that he has good intentions for our school and I am sure our principal, Mr. Thong will continue to do his best for the school, teachers and students. I am sure!!!!

My friends, anyone can change for the better, the only thing is when?? Any rascals in our school can be leaders in their future. But when?? That’s a big question. I would say in due time, with the help of someone, with the right advice and coaching. Students sometime can be little mischievous and naughty. I apologize on behalf of anyone in this batch of students who have hurt the feelings of teachers. They don’t mean it. Sometimes they are just trying to have fun, sometimes a bit too much. As for the ACS teachers, teachers got to trust the student, think from their angle at times. Having a little fun when learning, can make the learning more effective, I think. Dear teachers, you never know that one person’s life can change to wonders because of you. Teachers who like to smile, keep smiling, you brighten up someone’s day daily. Teachers who seldom smile, try smiling, it may even change your life. Really!!!!

So, my friend, I hope all of you got my point. There is a wild world out there, and we have to thrive to be the best. Sometimes, you can’t be the best, but by trying to be the best, you get better. So, start thriving now!!!!

Good luck my dear friends and teachers!!! This school will always be in my heart. All the wonderful memories will never disappear from me. Farewell….. Thank you, terima kasih, nandri, sieh sieh………

so... tats all i guess for now..
hope every1 is happy alwiz... :)
